Sales of electric two-wheelers are increasing rapidly in the country. The share of this segment in the total sales of two-wheelers is estimated to reach about 13 percent by 2026-27. In the last financial year this figure was about five percent. Investment banking firm Jefferies reports that about four years ago, the share of electric two-wheelers in the total sales of two-wheelers was only 0.4 percent.
