Lucknow Police Save 22-Year Old Woman from Suicide with Meta AI Assistance All Details

Meta AI helped save the life of a 21-year-old woman. The incident took place in Lucknow city of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is being told that the woman was upset after being abandoned by her husband. The woman made a video of herself hanging herself with a noose around her neck and also posted it on social media. After the video went viral, an alert was sent by Meta to the social media center of the Directorate General of Police. On receiving the alert, the police saved the woman’s life in time. The police have also arrested the woman’s husband, whose age is said to be 23 years.

news agency PTI (via NDTV) reports that Meta sent a timely alert to the Uttar Pradesh Police, due to which the life of a 21-year-old woman was saved. According to a police officer, the woman made a video of herself hanging herself with a noose and posted it on social media. While the video was going viral, the social media center of the office of the Directorate General of Police received an alert from Meta, after which the police immediately traced the woman’s village and reached the spot and prevented the girl from committing suicide.

ACP Mohanlalganj Rajneesh Verma told the agency that the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, when an alert was received from Meta AI on the social media center that a girl was hanging. The police immediately acted on this alert and a team reached the spot, after which the woman was rescued safely.

The woman was upset at being abandoned by her husband and that was the reason she was about to commit suicide. The age of the husband is stated to be 23 years, who has been arrested by the police. Police say that both of them got married without the consent of the family, after which the husband went back to his family due to the marriage being illegal.

The woman was later declared healthy and as per reports, the police are in constant touch with her. After the arrest of the woman’s husband, the matter is now being fully investigated and the girl is also being counselled.
