New record 19 astronauts in space this has never happened before

Cosmonauts Nikolai Chub, Alexander Grebenkin and Oleg Kononenko will also be present there.

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore went to the ISS for only 10 days, but due to a malfunction in their Starliner spacecraft, they were left stranded in space. The return of Sunita Williams and Butch can now happen in February or March next year.

Apart from this, four astronauts have also gone to space in the Polaris Dawn mission. These include Jared Isaacman, Colonel Scott Poteet, Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon.
