Elon Musk expected Starship rocket will take off Earth to Mars in 2026
Elon Musk said in a post on social media platform X that astronauts will not be included in tests related to safe landing on Mars. That means initially the mission will fly without a crew. If successful, a crewed mission can be sent to Mars in the next four years. The special thing is that Mars and Earth are in a fixed alignment once every 26 months for interplanetary missions.
Let’s come.
The first Starships to Mars will launch in 2 years when the next Earth-Mars transfer window opens.
These will be uncrewed to test the reliability of landing intact on Mars. If those landings go well, then the first crewed flights to Mars will be in 4 years.

Musk also expressed hope that once success is achieved, the flight rate will increase. Its aim is to build a self-reliant city on Mars in the next 20 years.
The first test flight of the Starship rocket had failed. The rocket was destroyed within a few seconds. However, Musk did not give up and SpaceX continued testing. Starship has been flown four times so far. Improvement has been seen after every test. The company is now preparing for the fifth flight, in which all aspects will be tested.
What is Starship Rocket?
Starship is a reusable rocket. It mainly has two parts. The first is the passenger carry section, which will house the passengers, while the second is the super heavy rocket booster. Its length including the starship and booster is 394 feet (120 meters). Whereas the weight is 50 lakh kilograms.
