4 categories of influencers
In UP Digital Media Policy 2024, 4 categories of influencers have been created, on the basis of which they will be paid. This payment will range from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 8 lakh every month.
What will influencers have to do?
The policy says that agencies or influencers will have to create content on government policies and achievements, which will be in the form of videos, tweets, posts and reels. After this the government will give money to the influencers.
Who will get how much money?
The money received by influencers will be based on the number of their followers. Those who have followers on Instagram, Instagram and Facebook can get Rs 2 lakh, 3 lakh, 4 lakh and 5 lakh every month. There are also 4 categories on YouTube. Under this, payment of Rs 4 lakh, 6 lakh, 7 lakh and 8 lakh will be made.
What does the government say?
According to media reports, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Prasad said in a statement that the people of UP living in the country and abroad will benefit from this. To avail the benefits of the policy, the agency or influencers will have to register with the government. After that ads will be issued to them.
There are some restrictions also…
Under the policy, if indecent, obscene and anti-national content is broadcasted, legal action will also be taken against the influencer and agency. There is a provision for punishment up to life imprisonment.
