Croatian automobile company Rimac has introduced its new electric hypercar Nevera R. It is being described as the fastest electric vehicle (EV). It can reach the speed of 0-100 kmph in just 1.81 seconds. Earlier the company had launched Nevera. The Nevera R has some improvements over it. However, its design is almost similar.

The chassis of the new Nevera R has been improved. Its price is around 25 lakh dollars (about Rs 21 crore). The company made only 150 units of Nevera. manufacturing Did. Rimac said that pre-orders for Nevera R have been started. Its 40 units will be made. This electric hypercar has a permanent magnet electric motor, which provides power to each wheel. Its total output is 2,107 hp. This is 193 hp more than the Nevera. With the help of this electric power, Nevera R can reach the speed of 0-100 kmph in just 1.81 seconds. It takes only 4.38 seconds to reach 0-200 kmph and only 8.66 seconds to reach 0-300 kmph.

It is the second track car to have a power of more than 2,000 hp. In this respect, the most powerful electric car is the Koenigsegg Gemera (about 2,300 hp). Rimac has said that only about 30 percent of the total parts of the Nevera have been used in the new Nevera R.

Its top speed is 412 kmph. Better aerodynamics, more downforce and better grip are the main reasons behind its higher speed. It has a large carbon fiber rear wing. The company claims that this increases aerodynamic efficiency by about 10 percent and downforce by about 15 percent. It has many driving modes from comfortable to track. Nevera R has a powerful 108 kWh battery with LFP cells. Its battery supports charging up to 500 kW. It has a new carbon-ceramic EVO2 brake. Apart from this there are Michelin tyres. The company has also improved its torque vectoring with its All Wheel Torque Technology. EV sales have increased in the last few years. Major markets for these vehicles include America and China.
