Munjya is releasing on star gold tv channel 24 august before OTT

Munjya TV Release: Fans have been waiting for the OTT release of the unexpected superhit film Munjya of the year 2024 for many days. The horror-comedy is part of the Maddock supernatural universe. The same Maddock whose Stree2 has created a stir in the theatres. Munjya’s OTT release on Disney Plus Hotstar is almost confirmed. But now a new information has come. Munjya is being released on television channels before OTT. Such a trend has not been seen in recent years.

Munjya will release on TV before OTT. It will be telecast on Star Gold from 8 pm on 24th August. This move is as unexpected as the success of the film. If you do not have a subscription to Disney Plus Hotstar, then you can watch this film on TV before OTT.

Talking about the box office performance of the film, Munjya directed by Aditya Sarpotdar was released on the big screen on June 7. It was produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. The film had a worldwide gross collection of Rs 132 crore. It became the fifth highest grossing Hindi film of this year, while its budget is said to be Rs 30 crore.

The film was appreciated by critics as well as the audience. Abhay Verma and Sharvari Bagh have played lead roles in the film. Munjya’s story takes inspiration from the folklore of the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Its main character Bittu i.e. Abhay Verma encounters a ghost named Munjya. Munjya’s death was quite tragic and he wants to marry Bela (Sharvari), Bittu’s girlfriend in the film.
