Redmi has introduced three new TWS earphones in the global market. These include Redmi Buds 6 Active, Redmi Buds 6 Lite and Redmi Buds 6 Play. The first model was introduced in China in early May this year and the global version keeps the same features. The new earphones are quite different from each other. Redmi Buds 6 Series Price

Redmi Buds 6 Active are priced at $14.90 (approximately Rs 1,250). The Redmi Buds 6 Lite is priced at £15 (roughly Rs. 1,653) in the UK, EUR 15 (roughly Rs. 1,392) in the EU, and ¥2,480 (roughly Rs. 1,420) in Japan. Redmi Buds 6 Play in Japan at Rakuten website It can be purchased for 1,380 Yen (approximately Rs 790). All three Redmi Buds 6 series TWS earphones come with Bluetooth 5.4 and Google Fast Pair. In terms of color options, they are available in black, white and blue colors. Whereas Buds 6 Active comes in pink shade.

Redmi Buds 6 Specifications

Redmi Buds 6 Lite has a stem and silicone ear tips. The TWS earphones feature 12.4mm titanium diaphragm drivers and cancel out surrounding noise with up to 40dB ANC. There are dual microphones with AI noise cancellation for crystal clear quality on calls. The Buds 6 Lite are claimed to offer a total of 38 hours of battery life with the pebble shaped charging case and up to 7 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Redmi Buds 6 Play features an in-ear design and silicone ear tips in a square shaped box. The audio device is equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers and packs AI noise reduction. It offers up to 36 hours of battery life. At the same time, 3 hours of playback is available in just 10 minutes of charging.

Redmi Buds 6 Active is similar to the device launched in China. It features 14.2mm dynamic drivers tuned by Xiaomi Acoustic Lab that promise a powerful sound experience with deep bass. Also supports spatial audio. The TWS earphones have dual mics and AI noise cancellation like the Buds 6 Lite and helps block wind noise. The audio device has a vertical glossy strip on the stem of the earbud. The earphones come in a square case with a transparent cover. Talking about battery life, it provides 30 hours of battery.
