Google CEO Sunder Pichai Praises PM Narendra Modi for AI Vision for India

The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently returned from a three-day US visit. Meanwhile, during a conference in New York, PM Modi met many tech CEOs. After the recent meeting with PM Modi, Google CEO Sundar Pichai praised his efforts in developing AI ready in India, India’s technology and digital projects.

Pichai said that “The Prime Minister has focused on transforming India with his Digital India vision. He said that PM Modi inspired us to continue manufacturing and designing in India. He is thinking about how AI will transform India. How can we change it so that the people of India can benefit more? He has always challenged us to do more.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently attended a conference with several tech CEOs in New York. Where Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA and a well-known figure in AI computing, also interacted with PM Modi. He said that Modi has great interest in understanding AI. Huang said that “Modi is an excellent student, always eager to learn about technology, AI, exploring new capabilities and opportunities for India and the impact on Indian society and industry.” Huang praised India’s status as a global powerhouse of technological talent, acknowledging the country’s contribution in the field of computer science.

Along with promoting technology, the Modi government has also focused on increasing India’s digital infrastructure. The government’s focus is on AI under the Digital India initiative, which aims to advance India’s infrastructure, boost the economy and make technology easily accessible to millions of citizens. The initiative has attracted global tech giants including Google and NVIDIA. The Prime Minister is looking at partnerships to advance India’s digital and AI capabilities.
